Your family’s immunity is always important but now more than ever so we thought we’d give you an immunity boosting drink the whole family will love.

This Immunity Boosting Inner Wellness Citrus Spritzer is filled with a variety of ingredients that are going to build immunity, nourish and hydrate with every sip.

We love that this Citrus Spritzer is filled with a host of ingredients that are associated with immunity:

Oranges and Lemons – Lemons are high in vitamin C, a natural antioxidant which enhances the immune system and has antiviral and antibacterial properties.

Ginger – Due to its strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, ginger is associated with boosting immune health.

Manuka Honey – Manuka honey’s healing properties make it a great all-round wonder food. ‘It has anti-viral, antimicrobial and antibacterial properties. It can be used to boost the immune system to help fight off illness and to improve skin conditions.

So you can see that having a jug of our Inner Wellness Citrus Spritzer on hand everyday will not only keep everyone well hydrated but their immune systems will be thanking you too.

Feel free to have some fun with this recipe – you could replace the lemons with limes and you could certainly add a few sprigs of fresh mint or rosemary.

  • I love the look of this drink, it so appealing. (lol)

  • I love all these ingredients and I can see how they would hydrate the body as well as boost the immune system with the honey and citrus and ginger. I will need to get myself some oranges and lemons in order to give this a try and I can’t wait.

  • This sounds pretty yummy, although I’m hesitant with the ginger. When I read that is only infused, I may cope! I know it’s super good for you, I just find the flavour a bit strong and spicey! Very high in vitamin c and a great drink if you’re unwell or wanting to stay well in winter!

  • This sounds very refreshing and enjoyable. I love the zing of a bit of ginger and Manuka Honey has great results added in most thinks. I’ve heard a lot about the benefits of Manuka and really need to but it more often. The next hot day we will have to try this.

  • Had to report back as i made this today, just happened to have all the ingredients needed as i was browsing! I have been feeling so congested and unwell the last few days that i just wanted a pick me up so i gave this recipe a go. It was soo good! Will definitely try this without the ginger for the kids too!

  • Wow, this sounds like such a beautiful drink! I bet it would help cure all manner of ailments and act as a really good cold preventative during the flu season. It has everything in it to make you feel really good inside and with those ingredients I bet it tastes amazing too!

  • I tried this yesterday and it was so yummy! Because I still had heaps of ginger and honey left over I made a banana smoothie this morning with lots of ginger, honey, lemon, soy milk, turmeric and ice – it was soooo good! Tomorrow I will go back to the sprizt. I am a huge fan of ginger and consume it daily in either a drink or as a pickled side dish.

  • Sounds refreshing and healthy I normally have an abundance of Oranges when my orange tree is in season so can’t wait to try this drink . Thanks for the recipe

  • This looks good. I do enjoy citrus drinks. Too easy to make up a jug full to pop in the fridge to drink regularly

  • This sounds right up my alley. Although not the biggest fan of ginger, i can tolerate it in small amounts or when mixed with other things as it’s quite strong and potent. But the health benefits are amazing so i do try to consume it. This drink recipe sounds like a winner

  • I wish I loved ginger as I know it has so many great nutritional properties to it but I just can’t stomach it unfortunately, which is ironic as it’s said to be great for tummy upsets! I do really love the idea of the Manuka honey in this drink though and would be keen to give something similar a go stans ginger; I wonder if some elderberry syrup would be a great sub?

  • I LOVE ginger. I have been religiously drinking ginger, orange juice, turmeric and honey and love it. At first I found the ginger a little jolting but over time I really now enjoy it. It can be little expensive sometimes but it is easy enough to propagate which I would recommend doing to save a few dollars. We recently planted 3 orange trees and 3 lemon trees (and 1 lime) and I seriously can not wait until they start to fruit so I can just go out and freshly pick all of the ingredients needed for this spritzer. Thank you for the recipe.
